What did Annabel say after her exit?

Presenter Tess Daly asked Croft if she had any final words following her Strictly dumping last night.

The former tennis champion said: "It's been the most life-changing and extraordinary experience of my life.

"I have to congratulate Bobby and Dianne and all the contestants that took part in it.

"But obviously, it's been an amazing, magical experience for me. Johannes, you have been absolutely extraordinary.

"You have given me a reason to get out of bed and come and dance with you, distract me and to heal me.

"I can't thank you enough for that. You have been so patient, so caring and so loving.

"You are an unbelievably special human being. I simply adore you. Thank you so much."

When is the Strictly Come Dancing final on?

The Strictly final takes place on Saturday December 16, 2023.

Angela Rippon talks inspiring Brits and keeping fit

Angela Rippon inspired millions as she became the oldest-ever contestant to grace Strictly Come Dancing.

At 79, the iconic broadcaster glided across the stage, reaching the latter stages of the competition.

Now, speaking to The Sun, she opened up about her time on the show and the impact she had on viewers at home.

“People are stopping me in the street, in the supermarket, and saying: ‘You’ve been inspirational’,” she said.

“I’m an advocate for keeping fit as you get older. By going on Strictly, I was putting my money where my mouth is. If people have enjoyed seeing me and it’s made them think: ‘If she can do it at 79, I can do it at whatever age,’ then that’s my Glitterball.”

Shirley explains her reason for dumping Annabel

During last night's show, head judge Shirley Ballas explained her decision to save Bobby Brazier and dump Annabel Croft.

Delivering her decision on last night’s show, which also featured a performance by Take That, Shirley said: “I thought both couples were absolutely extraordinary.

"I felt that both couples lifted their performance. I thought there was technical qualities on both sides, improvements galore.

“But again one tiny mistake coming out of a pivot turn — and therefore my decision would be to save Bobby and Dianne.”

'You've changed my life'

Ellie Leach has hailed her pro partner Vito as rumours of a romance between the pair continue to swirl.

When interviewed afterwards last night's, host Claudia Winkleman asked Ellie if she had anything she'd like to say to Vitto.

With a big smile on her face, the actress said: "Thank you for being the best partner, and the best friend.

"You always making me laugh, always pick me up when I'm down.

"Always pushing me, to put all that hard work in."

Ellie added: "Cause without you, I couldn't have done this experience, at all!

"You have changed my life!"
