He is currently the President and CEO of Binalbagan Isabela Sugar Company, Inc. and A. Chan Sugar Corporation. He is also president and chairman of Signature Music, Inc. Awarded in 1974 as one of the ten best young men in the Philippines. He has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Recording Industry Association of the Philippines and the Metro Pop Foundation. Recipient of the ABS-CBN "ELITE Platinum Award" for the first time in 2005 and recipient of the 2006 Dr. Jose P Rizal Award for Excellence.
